Effective January 27, 2022, Greg Demetriou, CEO of Lorraine Gregory Communications and LGC Studios, has been installed as the President of the Board of Directors of Irish Angel, Inc.
Irish Angel is a 501c3 nonprofit founded by Amanda Coleman of Dublin, Ireland and dedicated to U.S. law enforcement, first responders, and veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), suicide ideation, mental health challenges, and addiction.
Amanda comes from a law enforcement family in Ireland and became aware of the strife American law enforcement was experiencing. On a trip to the United States, Amanda met with, and was adopted by, the HRT OPCON SWAT unit and given the call sign “Irish Angel.” That led to the formal founding of Irish Angel, Inc. and the organization, which has grown exponentially to over 100,000 followers.

Greg is a retired NYC Detective, Medal of Honor recipient, and PTS survivor. He says, “Amanda first caught my eye with her personal approach to positivity and support of an audience with which I identify. I became a follower, and it was evident that Amanda and the organization she was building were going to be important in the fight against PTS related suicide and other mental challenges. I was immediately drawn to participate. My role of Director will allow me to bring my 30 years of business experience and deep knowledge of nonprofits to the already strong team of directors and advisory board volunteers.”
Amanda says, “Greg is going to be an important leader in the Irish Angel family, and I am very glad he has said yes to our very important and serious vision.”
Greg will carve out sufficient time to manage the Irish Angel from his CEO duties at Lorraine Gregory Communications, LGC Studios and GregsCornerOffice. “The team I have in place at LGC allows me the freedom to take on this new responsibility.
