Biography

Richard is an award-winning director with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of television, film and commercial production. As an associate Professor of film production at Adelphi University, Rich produced documentaries for Adelphi Productions, a non-profit film company. Moving to CBS-TV, Rich worked on The CBS Evening News, CBS Sports, and As the World Turns.

Rich also produced documentaries for PBS-TV, The Life and Times of John Muir and Isaac Asimov on Science. Credits include On Location…Behind the Scenes with Corbin Bernsen and Beyond the Sport with Keith Hernandez, Audubon’s Animal Adventures, Mysterious Places with Stacey Keach, Romantic Inns of America, Exotic Islands and Tennis World.

Richard also has directed and produced many corporate projects for tradeshows, marketing and sales venues and corporate meetings. His talent working with celebrities, actors, novice talent and children is evident producing many commercials, television shows and corporate programs over the years.

Richard is very easy to work with. He is a problem solver with the perfect temperament to work with clients, and get the best performances from the talent and crew.

Mr. Poggioli is an award-winning director with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of broadcast television production. Richard produced films such as Choices (on recycling), Intimate Companions (on pets as therapy) and What The Notes Say (on the school of music for the deaf).

Mr. Poggioli has created diverse projects ranging from a branding video for 1-800-Flowers to a recruitment video for Fortunoff’s. He has produced and directed numerous commercials, PSA’s and corporate videos for clients such as Henry Schein Pharmaceuticals, First Alert, 1-800-Mattress, Tiffany and Liz Clairborne.

In 1992, a highly decorated retired New York City Police Detective, Greg Demetriou, took a chance on a second chance, putting everything on the line to purchase a small direct mail business in Farmingdale. Bi-County Mailing was the start.
