Lorraine Gregory Communications Wins 6 Telly Awards
Today, the winners of the 42nd Annual Telly Awards were announced, and Lorraine Gregory Communications netted six (6) total awards. “LGC Studios has upped their game again. Winning six Telly awards is proof of the creativity and talent of the video team. Rich Poggioli has established a world class operation. I can’t wait to see what is next.” Said Greg Demetriou, CEO of Lorraine Gregory Communications.
The Telly Awards is a national competition that highlights excellence in video and television across all screens. Its winners include some of the largest media and production houses in the country. With a judging counsel of over 200 industry professionals, they carefully select winners each year.
This year, LGC won four (4) awards for their work on the Island Federal campaign and two for the Chrysalis Orchestra promotional video. “We were thrilled to win two Telly Awards last year, and I am beyond proud of the LGC Studios team for recognition in six categories this year,” said Rich Poggioli, Director of Video Services.
The Island Federal spots creatively aligned the quest to reach your dreams with the “only if” questions of financial stability, then connected the possibility of achieving “if” with IF (Island Federal). “Rich and his team did a terrific job of taking IF from our initial concept to a beautifully executed video that effectively communicates the benefits of banking at Island Federal,” said Mary Wyman, Director of Marketing, Island Federal. The four Telly Awards included one (1) silver award (Corporate Image format video) and three (3) bronze awards (Local TV :30 Generic; local TV :30 ATM Checking; Long Format miscellaneous).
Additionally, two (2) silver awards were won for the Chrysalis Orchestra – Layla promotional video. LGC Studios was called upon by legendary music producer and founder of Chrysalis Records, Terry Ellis, to bring the video production of “Layla” to life. The beautifully directed and produced video symbolizes a single flutist, uniting artists from around the world.
