Dinner and a Playlist Wins 2024 Gold Hermes Award

LGC Studios won a Gold Hermes Award for the "Dinner and a Playlist” series trailer. Set to air on public television in fall 2024, the show follows the musician-host as he travels to thirteen American cities rich in musical heritage and native cuisine. With a noted local chef, they dive into the local history, and culinary and musical influences, to craft a dinner menu and playlist that reflects the flavor of the city.

The sizzle reel featured Tulsa, Oklahoma, the hometown of the show’s host and an area abundant in cultural fusion. Viewers were teased with glimpses of mouthwatering dishes, infectious rhythms, and vibrant cityscapes, in a seamless integration of food, music, and history.
