LGC Staff Profile
Senior Video Editor
Queens College, City University of New York - CUNY
Charles Caracciolo started his television career in the late 1980s, toiling away in the Duplication Department at NYC’s Gramercy Broadcast Center. He would eventually move his way up the ladder to Assistant Editor, and after learning the editorial ropes from a handful of old-school mentors, he made his way into the big chair as Editor starting in 1990.
Charles lent his creative talents to numerous freelance clients and projects from 1990 through 2006, when he landed at Huntington, Long Island’s Aurora Productions, where he was Staff Editor until the end of 2020. Charles joined LGC Studios in January 2021.
Outside of the edit room, Charles is a drummer on random weekends, a NY Mets fan for 6 masochistic months a year, and a dad and husband 24/7. Having dreamed of making his own movie since getting a GAF 8mm movie camera for Christmas at age 13, he finally achieved that goal, making the award-winning documentary, “We Were All Nobody’s,” in 2018.
